How long after release until AirPod Pro 2 goes on sale?

Generally speaking of course, based on history for APP1? I don’t want to buy it at launch to then see it heavily discounted at Christmas or something, in which case I’d rather just buy APP1 today.

Anyone’s guess, but it seems like it was several months before we saw a substantial discount on the AirPods Pro. (earliest I could find was nearly a year after release, but I’m not 100% sure.)
