The other day I opted to stream my iTunes copy of Limitless (HD) on my ATV 3 from the the purchased tab. The buffering took forever due to my slow internet connection, so I gave up and forgot about it. The next day I checked it out and it was ready for watching-- and even the day after that it was still fully buffered. Does anyone know how long movies are stored on the ATV?

Also, is there a way to cancel the streaming/buffering process if it's taking too long?

Settings -> Network -> iTunes Store -> Stop Loading Rentals

Something around those lines to cancel a rental download.

Also, I believe the buffer is cached until there is insufficient cache storage available for the next stream, although I've no source for this.

thanks!

although with the aTV only having 8GB of storage, it won't last long.
probably the purchase of one additional movie would bump the old one.
