How long can I wait before activating the unlimited plan?

Just got my iPad 3G. I don't think I'll need 3G for awhile, but at some point the unlimited option might disappear, right? I hope we get notified before that happens.

No, the plan is still available, but right now it is anybody's guess as to when the plan will be taken down.

Activate it now. I was in the same boat as you, I just activated mine this morning, and so far I think it's worth it. I mean its only thirty bucks for one month, you can always cancel it at anytime.

Picked up a 32GB iPad 3G at Best Buy in San Jose today. At about 5:45 P.M. PST the Unlimited plan was still available.
