How long do Amazon rebates take?

With Amazon, you do rebates online. I was thinking about buying a Macbook through them and using the extra money to get 2 gigs of RAM :) However, if I had to wait like 4 months for the rebate, I won't have any money to get it and I will be stuck on 512MB. :eek:

The rebate form says 8-10 weeks. Having bought 3 macs from Amazon, that's pretty accurate.
