Just bought a new iMac and haven't bought AppleCare yet, how long do I have to do so? 90 days? Is there a time limit?

Looks like eBay has the lowest price for it, anyone else know of a good site to buy it discounted?

i believe amazon sells it for a discount
you get 1 year from the date of purchase
one guy from apple was really nice to me and let be buy applecare 2 months after my 1 year purchase date

L.A. Computer. I got mine from them. They have fast, reliable service and none of the potential hassles one could potentially encounter on auctions.

I've had good luck with Amazon's third party sellers. Just make sure you get a sealed copy (to be safe).

Correction, you have one year to purchase and register the Applecare online, or it is invalid.

Also if you have never registered the machine purchase with Apple in the first place, Apple will assume the warranty starts on the manufacture date, not your purchase date, so your 1 year warranty may be up sooner than you think.

never purchased apple care in my life and all macs are being good somewhat except my imac g3 died in an unfortinate accident the otherday
