You need to wait until Apple decides to announce them. Why would you think anyone on this website can give you a definitive answer? Any response would be pure speculation...

What’s wrong with the existing AirPods Pro? I find it really refreshing to have a product that isn’t attempted to be made obsolete every year
The rattle. Lots of folks reporting that they’re still replacing units even though it was supposed to be fixed.

A million quabillion years.........lol

Just kidding
I will say once they dont update a certain product for a while its safe to say purchase now because it will most likely not be updated in the short time being, that's my opinion

I dunno. If they put put a speaker in the case to find it using Find My, that alone would get me to upgrade.
At least allow precise location tracking on them. Its nice knowing they're in my house. So am I. Where do you think I'm looking for them? But knowing down to 3 feet would at least let me know which room they're in. As it stands, half of the time "Find My" thinks my stuff is 4 houses down the street anyway lol.

if they release AP2 I will buy them immediately, because the gap between release would suggest there's a significant improvement. But I like the fact that they haven't got an annual cycle

Random question-- figured I'd post here. Does anyone else's Pro's have their individual batteries drain at different times? I've read on here somewhere that the first ear to "connect" to BT are the ones that get the mic assigned to them, and therefore drain faster than the other ear. BUT, what happens to me is after normal use I get the "Battery Low" message, and instantaneously one Airpod is at 0%, while the other has another ~ 10-15% left in the tank. Never fails, and I've had this for over a year (too premature in my opinion for regular battery drain). Not a huge deal, but somewhat frustrating. Wondering if anyone else has this issue.

Otherwise, bring on better battery life in the Pro 2's!! Hard to think of other things that are lacking or in need of improvement, other than incremental sound design advances.

This. I won’t buy APP2 until a bit after release to wait for reports of the rattle. Will definitely upgrade if that’s fixed. Probably when it first gets a sale price.
