How long does it usually take best buy to restock iPads?

I called best buy yesterday (Saturday) asking if they had any 3G ipads left. They said no, and when I asked when they would get a restockment, they said they didn't know. So do you guys have an idea of how long it takes best buy to restock ipads? I'm trying to get it by this Friday (May 7) because I have a long weekend of stuff ahead of me.

...I pretty much have to buy from best buy because I have $300 in gift cards from there that I wouldn't use otherwise...

The employees are usually clueless as inventory is controlled by corporate who watch their sales and order remotely for all their store in the USA. The employees have little warning until they are delivered to the back door.

There is no "usually" because Apple is shipping them direct to the stores. So the correct answer is they don't know b/c they are at Apple's kind mercy. At this point getting an iPad @ BB is pot luck. What is annoying is they don't even have a "reserve" list.

If you really need an iPad by Friday, the Apple Store may be your best bet. They are taking reservations and get shipments daily.
