To all you people out here who have had a MacBook Pro with the dreaded blue patches on the screen... How long can I expect until my screen just dies or does the orange/yellow thing? I'm just wondering how long I have to save for a Windows (spits on floor) laptop... I never really noticed, until someone told me to check... and boom. I have five pretty large blobs, centre and each corner. Maybe about 30% of the screen.

I read quite a few of the threads on here, but I didn't see anything that answered my question... sorry if this is continuous question on here!

Take a pic, post it here - so we can "see what you are seeing".

What year was the MBP made?

Dreaded blue patches? First I've heard of this phenomenon.
Are we talking about a recent MBP or something 10+ years old with a failing AMD GPU?

Apparently the A1707 16-17 models I think have a screen issue (not flexgate) where the screen develops light blue patches on the screen, which are primarily visible on a white background.

Plenty about it on Google… just type “macbook pro light blue patches on screen”

I just can’t find how long the expected lifetime is after they pop up
