Swipe up from the home button? That's Google Now, built in since JB (4.2/4.3)

A bit unfair, it's a feature build in the LG G2, called RingPad modified with root, so I can choose up to 5 items including every app and function.
Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen and the RingPad appears, this works where ever you are, very useful.

Custom ROM.

Erm no, the fact that I can change that from Google Now to bing if I want to.

It's had this feature since you installed bing ;)

Basically it just allows you to change which search you launch via the swipe shortcut.

Uninstall bing app and you won't get the choice. Simples. :)

Uh, Android has this option long before even Gingerbread and earlier. It lets you choose 'default app' for specific action. You didn't know?

I knew it had default apps and stuff, just didn't know it was so deep you could modify the swipe up action.

This. You beat me to the response...

I've hated that "feature" since Google implemented it. I trigger it accidentally when scrolling upwards and it swooshes me away from what I'm doing.

bit off topic but any of you use gmd gesture control? it's pretty sweet (bit unstable) and basically gives you iPad gestures. It's great to use when in immersive mode.

I use PIE with PA.

This thread might make me look inexperienceed with Android but I assure I am not lol. I'm using Franco's kernel paired with Paranoid Android 4.2 Beta 4.
