My 20" iMac "shipped" on the 31st. As of the end of their day on the 1st, it still says it's in Shanghai. FedEx has a delivery date of Nov 4.

How long can I expect that machine to register being in Shanghai? Am I going to see it sitting there until the 3rd and then see it updated to being at my local facility? Is there even any validity to the FedEx estimated date?

Just curious and tired of waiting!!!!

Fedex has told me that my stuff was in California when it showed up on my doorstep in St. Louis. They seem to wait to update your tracking page until after the package has been delivered

Chances are, your computer has left Shanghai and I'm sure it will arrive on the 4th.

odd, my powerbook shipped the 31st with a delivery date on the 3rd, and it has been updated regularly, first shanghai, then anchorage, then indianapolis, and now in-transit (probably in new york by now).

i've always found fed-ex to update their tracking much more often the ups, and most of the time i get stuff a day before their estimated delivery date (which it's beginning to look like for my pb :D )

in any case, i'm sure your iMac is somewhere on this side of the planet by now ;)

Shipping companies never cease to amaze me by defying the laws of physics. I ordered something for my car and it left Oklahoma City before it arrived there.
