how long is the first reboot supposed to take?

i finally took the plunge and decided to jailbreak.

quickpwn says "pwnage process appears to have completed successfully. please wait for your device to reboot in its newly modified state."

that was about 20 minutes ago. is that normal or did i hit the wall here? should i attempt to re-pwn? restore? or just keep waiting?

well i decided to restore and try it again.

question i should have asked before i tried jailbreaking: will my mobileme email and contacts still sync after a jailbreak?

don't know about mobileme, but if you backed up your iphone (synced it with itunes) before jailbreaking it should all be there, after it's done rebooting itunes should recognize and as whether you want to restore from a backup or set up as a new iphone

It should only take a minute, if that, to boot again. Something is definatly wrong if it's taking more than a few minutes. Time for a restore

Well, Jailbreak doesn't stop anything from functioning (unless, of course, if you make it ). So MobileMe will work fine, just like everything else.
