How long to download library

I just got the Apple TV 160 GB and I am attempting to transfer an iTunes library from my iMac to the Apple TV. The library is music only and is 34 GB in size. I started transferring yesterday about noon, and it is still going today at 8 AM - 20 hours so far. I am connected thru ethernet. Any ideas or suggestions. Is this normal. I wish there was some kind of status or progress bar, some message. But all it says is that it is downloading the library. Thanks.

34gb should only take 1-2 hours over an ethernet connection. So something is wrong.

Found the problem and I'm re-doing it now. I had iTunes on a small library and not the main music library when I first setup the ATV. Reset ATV, and now all is woking as it should. Thanks.
