How long to go from "Prepared" to "Shipped"?

Hello :)

Looking at the various shipping status threads for Canada, UK, etc, I couldn't find a straightforward answer to a question I have. Tonight, my iPad (finally) switched to "Prepared for Shipment" from "Not yet Shipped" (this happened about an hour ago, 6:00 AM local time in Shenzhen where the iPad is made).

My question: how long did it take for your iPads to go from "Prepared for Shipment" to shipped (in business days)? :)
 
Hey :) new here, just wanted to chime in. Mine went to "prepared for shipment" yesterday around 12pm.
It is still in the same status and now apple's order status page is down.
Also, I ordered my 64 3g on May 23rd.

Hurrrry Apple! :(

Ordered mine May 19th, 32 3g...good to know it's not just me, their page is definitely down - we probably crashed it with the constant checking. I check in like several times an hour, compulsively. :D
 
Mine took about 24 hours to go from "Prepared" to "Shipped". It shipped this morning and yesterday I noticed that it had been prepared. Will be here on Friday (before 10:30)
 
Sorry for the bump, but should I contact customer service? I'm getting a little paranoid.
 
Mine just shipped, like just now, got the notification. It was about 26 hours for me.

Wait a little longer, maybe it'll ship soon (it's 8 AM in Shenzhen). If it's not shipped within the next few hours or by tomorrow, I'd call Apple.

Hmm. Well, I guess I'll wait another day--phone support is closed for the night. Perhaps the delay has something to do with the AT&T data plan fiasco.
 
Well, I just got off the phone with Apple after a 20-minute hold.

Apparently, even though my order is ready to be shipped, they won't actually ship it until the date that's listed online--June 8.

Okay, so it looks like it shipped an hour ago :). My final answer: it took roughly forty-eight hours to change from "Prepared" to "Shipped".
