My MacBook was sent from Shanghai on the 21st of Feb. It finally made it to the Netherlands, but it's been there for two, almost three days now. I'm in Oslo, Norway.

How long does shipments usually take? I'm especially interested in other European shipments, but others too, so that I really get something to complain about.

Aaaaaaaaah!

02 Mar 2006 22:06 Arnhem, The Netherlands. Consignment Received At Transit Point

That's 2 days and 14 hours just to get it from one place in the Netherlands to another. You can bicycle across the Netherlands in an hour or so, what are they doing to my MacBook :( Keep your grubby hands off it, you hear me!

At least it's moving now! If my ship time was anything to go by it should be able to get from Arnhem to your front door by Monday, Tuesday at the worst. My guess was that it took a while to clear EU import customs...

I'm back from vacation. I have the MacBook. I got a phone call on Tuesday as you predicted, but since I couldn't be there to receive it they sent it to the nearest post office and I just picked it up. :D

First impression: It's huge  I'm used to a 12" PB.
Second impression: Damn, that whining noise is annoying.
