Other How long will they hold a new iPhone for pickup?

I’m due for an upgrade and like everyone else I want my phone on day one. Unfortunately, I’ll be traveling internationally for work when the new iPhone drops. If in place an order for in store pickup, will they hold it for ten days until I’m back in the states to retrieve it?
