ok just got my iphone and downloaded ziphone i wanted it to unlock / jailbreak abd activate. Right now it says entering recovery mode, how long does this take? on the ipod it shoes the itunes logo with the usb showing to plug it in...is this normal?

I think I got a similar problem. Kill ziphone (it warns you, make your selection), connect to iTunes. iTunes might say the phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored. If so, restore, and wait till iTunes reaches the screen when it says the next step is to register with the carrier.

Now eject the iphone, close itunes, stop itunes helper (or a similar service in Windows), and then launch Ziphone and try again.

It worked for me, YMMV.
