I am using a MacBook as my media server and I cna't stand how loud the fan is. Is the fan inside ATV just as loud when playing HD videos?

How loud is the fan in ATV?

There is a fan but barely noticeable noise and the heat that comes from it would suggest there is no fan.
The only, and I mean only, time I hear any noise at all emanating from my 
TV is when I power it down -- I hear a barely audible little whine that lasts about .5 seconds as it shuts down. Other than that the thing is essentially totally silent. I knew there was a fan in there, but it must turn very slowly (which would explain why we all notice how hot the thing runs).

the only thing i can hear (putting ear up to it) is the hard drive, spinning up, and spinning down when I turn it on/off.
I've never heard the fan either, but then again I have an 800 watt Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound system connected to it.
