Well I have ordered my first iPhone, and will be collecting it tomorrow. I have been looking through the forums here, and on the net to see what sort of apps are out there, and what are the "must haves", or most popular.
So far my list comprises the following free and paid for apps:

Safe
Angry birds
Around me
BA Flights
Brain Challenge
Brushes
Currency converter
E Buddy pro Messenger
Chess
Mobile Me Gallery
PhotoCalc
Red Laser
Remote
Skype
TopTable
Weatherbug
Wifi
Thats seventeen, plus the ones that already come with the iPhone. It got me wondering. How many Apps do you have on your iPhone? Tens? Hundreds? Do you add and remove them as and when you need them?
For myself, I will probably get the free ones for now, and gradually buy a few paid apps as I get used to the phone, and see what I actually might find useful, or fun. :)

i have just under a hundred (over 100 if you count the ones that come w/ the os).

the test for the apps staying on my phone follows a similar test for clothes in my closet. if i regularly use/wear the item, i keep it. if it goes a number of days/months (depending on the nature of the app) w/o being used, then i delete it.

maybe you should add a poll.

roughly 130. I tend to keep all apps unless they turned out to be really a waste. then they get deleted or not synced.

As of today, I have 122 apps on my iPhone. The number increases as time goes by, as I tend to be an app-addict :p

Here's a list of my current apps (not in a particular order). Some are free, but most are paid. I also have many more in iTunes (that aren't synced to save space). I probably have 150+ apps in iTunes. I just wrote the name it shows on my iPhone, so the exact names might not be on the list. If you wanna know about a specific app, just PM me or something.

If you read all the way down to here, cheers! Got any app recommendations for me, based on my current ones?

Currently on my iPod touch I have about 30 (I don't have the exact number because it's not on me right now) but that's mainly because it's only 8GB and most of that is taken by music. I'm sure I'll have a lot more when my 32GB iPhone gets here.
