How Many Apps Will Take Advantage of Multitasking on iOS 4?

I am loving the multitasking on iOS 4 but I am very nervous because I don't think many apps will support iOS 4 features at launch. Do you guys think many apps will support multitasking in iOS 4? I only know of a few that will have multitasking. Here is the list of apps I know do it and how I found out

Pandora: This has been demoed multiple times on Apple's stage. No doubt its coming

Skype: This also has been demoed once or twice. This is also a no brainer

Tap Tap Revenge 3: Again, also demoed on Apple's stage

TomTom: TomTom has come out to say they are interested in supporting multitasking but that is no guarantee. Still looks very likely

Twitter for iPhone: After the WWDC keynote, the attendees got their hands on iPhone 4 demo units. On a YouTube video I saw, I clearly noticed Twitter for iPhone doing fast app switching. When someone launched the app, it came up very fast without needing to load like it does when it is started up.

Any others that you guys know of? Do you think that all of the apps on the iPhone 4 demo unit did multitasking? If so then I know of a lot more that do it.

Most apps need minimal modifications to be compatible for basic "fast app" switching. For example I've modified my ABContacts app to use fast switching in only a couple minutes. Games may require a little more but probably still measured in "hours".

The other multitasking features (for example the ones used by Pandora or Skype or TomTom) are more difficult to add.

doubt theres official multitasking implamented yet as apple have only just started accepting 4.0 apps for approval

hopefully all of the developers can quickly implement this feature because it would be nice to have alot of apps that support this at launch

twitter/tweetie for iPhone, Reeder, and Facebook (my most used apps) already save state when you close out of the app. So while its not INSTANT when i return to the app, its still quite fast and saves your last place. But like it was said, with just some coding, every app could have the same treatment, which would be awesome.
