I'll have to admit, having someone present to me that my problems with my phone are my fault...that got under my skin. So I have to ask: Can a person have too many apps on an iPhone? Is there such a thing?
My phone is a 64Gb. The settings say its capacity is 55.7 GB and that I have 51.3 GB available. I have 19 apps I installed, in addition to the ones Apple put there.

What is too many? I guess you can have too many in the sense that you don't have enough space, but that's basically it.

Compared to most folks I know who own an iPhone, your usage is below average. Like already mentioned, you'll know when you have too many apps when your phone tells you that you've run out of space. Enjoy your phone and don't worry about it. :)

I had plenty of space, so that's not the issue. I was just wondering if there was something I was doing to cause 2 new iPhone 6's to malfunction so seriously, as this (nontechnical) person who spoke to me was suggesting.

Anyway, I feel quite vindicated. iPhone 6 number 2 has been restored to factory state and sits here, unable to find a cellular network because the carrier settings do not exist. So...not my fault for 'doing too much' with my phone. She's wiped clean, not even my Apple ID on it.
[doublepost=1461783613][/doublepost]Ah, chscag, both my iPhones have turned out to be an absolute misery to me so far. I really enjoyed them while they worked, but the second one I've had since Sept/15 just became an expensive camera/mini computer after 30 days. :( As I said, though, it's good to know I didn't do anything to cause this. I think I'll ask for a different color of phone if I can, maybe the golds are flawed?
