How many bars of 3G do you normally get on your iPhone on the AT&T network?
What's your location?

I almost always get 5 bars here in the San Jose, CA area. I get an occasional dropped call in two specific areas as I drive through: Hwy 87 south of downtown and Hwy 101 just south of Hwy 85. Otherwise service has been great.

S-

I almost always have 5 bars... But that is often not indicative of good service (or any service at all, sometimes).

I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, Yorktown/Norfolk/Newport News, yada yada yada.

Everywhere is 5 bars. I think I drop a bar when I go into a restaraunt sometimes, but overall it's max 3G everywhere I go.

At work it's always 5 bars. When I'm at home it's usually 3 or 5. I get pretty good service when I'm out unless I go in stores.

southeastern virginia.
ive never had less than 5 bars of 3G,
except in my school, but then no one gets service in there.

I almost always have five bars, except when on the highway. It fluctuates. Otherwise, I'm always at 5 bars and Wifi/3G.

York, Pennsylvania.

Tampa, Florida - the only time I lose signal is when I go deep into the basements of some of the old buildings on campus. Other than that, it's pretty steady on five bars.

5 bars of 3G in Las Vegas, NV. I get like 1 bar of 3G at school though. -_-

Lol, same here at times. 3G goes from perfect reception and quality 5 bars down to 2-3 bars and even 1 (sometimes I drop to Edge) in classrooms.

More so in the 2 new buildings. Maybe its because they want to discourage texting in class perhaps?
