For those of you using Aperture, what is the maximum number of images you can have zoomed simultaniously? Please also state your computer's gpu(or model) and RAM you have installed. And also maybe the MP RAW images you're using.

Thanks.

I would be interested in this as well. I'm looking to buy a new computer, and would like to know what kind of hardware I need to have four or more images zoomed at the same time. Thanks.

Mord, I'm not clear by what you mean by zoomed? Are we talking about being in full-screen mode and then hitting the Z key? How do I measure what is acceptable?

Edit: OK, I think the answer is 2. No matter how many images I select when I'm in full screen and hit Z I am left with 2 full images zoomed to 100%. I even tried plugging into my TV for 1920x1080 display to see if it was limited by the screen resolution. Machine is a first generation 2.0Ghz MBP (15") with 2GB of RAM.

with Hamburglar.
I can get 12 at once in Zoom view. It changes based on how many of the same dimensions I have selected together (12 as the max).

If I have all 3:2 ratio, I get 12. If I toss in some 2:3 or 5:4 it doesn't make as nice of a "grid" so the max number of zoomed images is less.
