How many days did it take to get your iMac?

On the “I ordered an IMac” thread I’ve been checking out when people have ordered their iMacs and what the estimated date of delivery is, but I was wondering just how long it actually took to get your iMac, from the date you ordered it, until you had it in your hands?
Did you order a stock model or add upgrades?
Did you order online, or at an Apple store?
I want to order a new iMac, and the actual delivery time is important as I will be having to leave town for about a week, then when I return I’ll be off work for about a week. I’d hate to have the iMac show up just before I left, then have it sit around the house for a week when I’m gone, but then again, I’d hate for it to show up just as my vacation ends and I have to go back to work!
 
Ordered late (11pm) on the 1st April. Only changes to the standard configuration were a wireless mouse and the full numeric keyboard. The order got cancelled:eek: and replaced by an identical order by Apple, probably due to supply issues. Got an email on the 7th April that it had shipped. No news on either Apple's or the carriers site about its progress. Arrived this morning (14th) at 0920.
 
...walked into the base PX and picked it up, went home with it.

CTO doesn't do me any good being stationed in Japan = :apple: Japan doesn't sell USA OSX and :apple: USA doesn't ship direct to military post office addresses:mad:
 
Ordered on the 6th, Shipped on the 10th, Delivered on the 14th.

It was on the plane over the easter break and delivered the first day it was here :)

2.93 with 4850. absolutely love it
 
I ordered my BTO 3.06GHz / 4850 system on the morning of 3 March. Originally the estimated ship date was 14-April. It actually shipped on 9-April (and arrived the next day, thanks to the overnight shipping option I had selected).

What was your configuration that you ordered? ___Ghz ____HD Size, _____Video option GT130 or HD4850, Where are you located?
 
So, you guys ordered the ATI Radeon card in April, and you received it today/recently?
 
I have an iMac 24/8GB/ATI and a Mini 2.0/4GB/320 on order now. My Mini is supposed to be here before Friday. It has not shipped yet. If I do not receive it by then, I am canceling BOTH orders.

Apple has told me twice that they will not ship new orders ahead of older ones but feedback from folks on here show this not true.

Wow you ordered a 8GB Ram version that is a lot of ram for your iMac. It should be there on Friday. I don't know what is going on with all these shipping delays. It is making a lot of people not happy.

What do you mean :apple: Japan doesn't sell "USA OSX"? I believe there is only one OSX image and it is multi-lingual/region. Am I wrong on this?

/just ordered a BTO MacMini online from :apple: Japan over the weekend.
 
Now I see on the Apple Store if you choose iMac with numbered KB, ATI HD4850 option 1 TB HD, 3.06 Ghz shipping is now set at 5-7 business days. What in heck is going on? What happened to the guys who ordered Mid and late March and even mine ordered March 30th, still no change in shipping status. Around April 1st the shipping time for same configuration above went from 3-5 Weeks to 7-10 business days. Now on April 14th it is 5-7 business days. I have but one question WHY???????

...I have no true apple store close to the base and any of the authorized resellers won't touch it if the computer is using an English OS, not to mention they cost more from apple Japan.
 
3.06GHz / 4850 ordered March 9. Still not shipped yet :mad: Shipping date estimated is April 20.
 
mine took 21hrs from clicking the order button to opening the box.

Stock config 2.66 24" with mini keyboard, no custom options at all.
 
Hello, I ordered my iMac on the 4th, it was shipped on the 7th and received it today, other people got it yesterday but Because I got Applecare they had merge into 1 order so this delayed it.

Ordered the entry 24" standard spec yesterday afternoon at 2.42pm. It arrived this morning at 11.40am. Now that's what I call service!

Just waiting to get it home and get started. This is my first Apple computer. I'm hoping for a liberating experience!
