I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I can't find it, how many iphones/ipod touches can you put each app on, also how many computers?

On a different not, if I wipe and sell my ipod touch, how do I ensure that it will not count as a license even though it won't be on there.

LMK if that doesn't make sense.

Well you can authorize up to 5 computers.. now when it comes to iPhones you can put on 1,000,000 different iPhones if you want as long as you use one of those 5 authorized computers to sync/install from.

as SteveLV702 said, you don't have to worry about authorizing iPods, only the computers that those iPods are synced with need to be enabled with that itunes account. So it doesn't matter if you wipe an iPod clean and sell it.

Also, if your a developer, you can put out a request to collect up to 100 beta testers for your application.
These people will have to send their UDID (Unique Device IDentifier) to the developer, and only 100 places are available (license-wise).

You can easily obtain your UDID from your iPhone by downloading the application 'UDID' from the App Store.
The application is FREE, and a must have, for everyone.

I'll be requesting beta testers also, when my application is nearer completion, early next year.

Thanks Erica!

Whats your application? If you like ill beta test it... you know you can get UID easier then that without having to download anything... Just connect to iTunes and in the summery page click your Serial Number and it will change to to UID then you can press Command-C (windows users Ctrl-C) to copy to your clipboard.
