I know there always is a bit of a rush with orders when they release a new product. But I can't shake the feeling it is bigger than usual this time.

So what do you people think? Will it be a lot (compared to Apples normal annual sales) or about the same as every new launch?

And yes this time it's 3 parallell products launching but for now just lump them together as M1 computer sales.

These are Apple’s best selling models, it’s the holiday, and working from home doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon, so I’d guess they’ll sell a lot of them. Apple sells about 20 million Macs a year, of which about 70% are MacBooks.

At least a few million, we will probably find out the new install base by the demand for AS native apps.

Every one they can build. I ordered a base Air early last week. Delivery is 12/4-12/10. None available in stores in Northern California, Nevada, or New Hampshire.
