I bought a macbook pro 15 in 2019 and i returned 6 times the same device for replacement because of technical issues (dead pixel, display issues, cosmetic defects). What is your experience at this point?

I have owned 2 so far, a 2017 MacBook Pro and I just bought an M3 Pro, neither have been returned for anything. Thankfully.

I've had 2 pros - 2021 M1 Max, the first was probably around 2015? Never had a single defect with either genuinely. 6 seems like an insane bad luck streak. The only reason I switched from the 2015(ish) to an iMac was that I spilled soda on it 😬

Yeah I've been lucky, I had two used 2012ish MacBooks, no issues, then got the 2017 MacBook Pro, no issues. I also bought the wife a 2015 iMac brand new, no issues. I bought a store display 2020 iMac, no issues other than flickering screen every once in a while but not enough to send for repairs. I just got an M3 MacBook Pro, hopefully it treats me well like the rest have.

The 2017 MacBook still works, just the battery sucks, my kid has it in her room plugged in and works fine.
