Thinking of giving the newly released LR a go. How many computers can you use it with? Not worried about the mobile side as I have an iPad and phone, pretty standard. But on the OS side I'd like to use it on my Windows desktop, my MacBook Pro and also an iMac I have at work (during lunch of course :). I don't suppose they would be generous enough to allow three systems but I thought I'd check with users here.

For one "individual" license, you can install the desktop version of CC in 2 machines, they don't need to be on the same platform so one can be Windows while the other Mac. And then you cannot concurrently run both at the same time, when one is launched the other will be blocked (or something to that effect, haven't seen it happen for a while).

Mobile devices are much more lex, there is no hard limit on number of devices. But you are limited to only sync to one catalog at a time, so when you maintain 2 separated and independent catalogs on the 2 computers, then you need to stick to only one of them for mobile sync.

I don't think there is any proscription against using both copies of Lr at once; I'm doing so right now on an iMac and MBP. You can't have two machines accessing the same catalog though.

You are right, I must have mixed up the license behaviour pre-CC when it was still limited to per person.
