How many of you still on Jailbroken 1.1.4?

I went back to 1.1.4 after 2.1. I still love it as it's stable, responsive and does nearly everything I want (I miss a couple of apps but nothing big). At this point I personally see no reason to go to 2.2. Nothing earth shattering there.

Anyone else happy in the past with 1.1.4?
 
2.2 JB is stable, responsive and does nearly everything I want. :D

Is there something "earth shattering" about 1.1.4 that makes you want to stay there? :confused:

You're absolutely crazy.

The apps are SO much better on 2.2, EXCEPT AgileMessenger.
 
The reason I went from 2.1 to 1.1.4 is because of terrible lagginess when Jailbroken. I found it would sometimes take 15 seconds or more to open the camera, settings or SMS. There was a lengthy thread on this subject a month or so ago and many others were experiencing the same problems. So no...there is nothing "earth shattering" about 1.1.4 other than the fact that it works. Better than 2.1 on a Jailbroken phone in my experience. Again, there were many other folks experiencing the same problems.

I am telling you from experience...after suffering through the choppiness and lag of 2.1 going back to 1.1.4 was a HUGE difference in the UI and how responsive it was.

This was IN MY EXPERIENCE on a Jailbroken phone.

I experienced all the same problems on 2.1. 2.2, on the other hand, has been very stable. I do not get the unbearable amounts of lag from 2.2 JB that I got from 2.1 JB. IMO it's just as fast as non-JB. :D

Have you tried 2.2? Or do you not want to update your baseband?

lol. wow 1.4! I have had no problems with 2.2 in fact everything runs rather smoothly and swiftly, just make sure you don't have tons of apps running and downloaded (Just stick with what you need) and you should have a great experience with 2.2

I have not tried 2.2 yet but now that you say you had the same problems with 2.1 but not with 2.2 I might give it a shot now. I don't want to update my baseband either.

Your post is encouraging to me...
 
I have found so many useful apps and love all the updated feature in the OS that I could never imagine jus using 1.1.4.

That's just me though....all 7 pages of apps me...
;)
 
I'm still on 1.1.4, and will remain so for the foreseeable future...
