I'm usually pretty good keeping track of my AirPods. I have two pairs. One for the car and one that I use at home. The other day I noticed I didn't see the pods in the car. Sometimes they will end up in the house if I'm on a call when I get home. I tried the find my iPhone app which isn't helping because I have a home and car AirPod in the same case. No luck getting the other of the pair to beep so I'm starting to doubt they are in the house (not in the car either). I lost another pair while at the Apple Store a year ago. I think it slid out of my pocket while my kids and I were taking a coding class. Hopefully the current lost pair will be found when I do some through New Years cleaning.

I also have two pairs, and I keep them in cases with Tiles attached, because I lose stuff.

How good do those Tiles work? I thought about getting one after I lost my wallet a few years ago but didn't because it needs to connect to Wifi to work. I didn't think it would be beneficial because I wouldn't be able to track it in real time.

I was on a mission later in the day that I posted this. Ended up finding the pods in their case in a jacket that I hardly wear. Wore it one day when it was raining. I don't know if their didn't play a sound when I tried to find them or I didn't hear it.

They don’t use wifi, they use bluetooth. So they are always paired to your phone, and also anyone else who has Tile will also pick up on them, so it’s not reliant on just being close to you. And if it’s not connected to bluetooth because you drop it somewhere, your phone will know what that last destinatoin was, so you can go back there. They work well for me... I have them on lots of things. Like I will know that my checked suitcase has arrived in my destination or been loaded onto the plane because I will get an alert.

Two pairs so far.
Once when I dropped the case and the earbuds flew out down an elevator shaft.
Second one of the buds disappeared. No idea where it went.
I’m on my third set now. All were gifts so that’s been nice.

I thought I lost my gen 1 once at hotel on holiday but on last day I found it under the bed . I’d ordered another pair in the meantime and sold them on eBay for more money than I paid as low stocks at that time .

None - I am really anal about mine... Just handed down my originals to my 17yr old daughter, so we'll see how long it takes her to lose them in her disaster of a bedroom...
