Hey people, i was wondering how many people actually go to a memorial service for the military veterans on memorial day? i just came back from one, then again, i am an Eagle Scout and went w/ my troop. Just a thought, but there were considerably less people there this year, and, at least i think, its important to honor those who died for our country(if your a US Citizen).

Unfortunately, I had to work. Otherwise I would have.

But I'm no boy scout, I quit that at Webelos (or whatever they were called).

It's probably because my Dad is a WWII vet.

I worked.

I thought about our "vets" a few times, though, which is really the purpose of the holiday - to honor those who served the country, even if it is just a few mnoments of your own thoughts. :)

I didn't go to a formal memorial service today, but they've been on my mind today. I guess you could say I had my own moment of silence for them.

if being able to here the service as i watched anime counts then sure.

I live next to a cemetery where the service goes to every year.

I'm thankful that today marked the end of FUD Patrol™

Damnit, that means I can't bring it back tomorrow? This avatar was to honor MD. Guess I'll have to come up with something new tomorrow.

Don't worry. I thought there have been far more annoying 'tars than FUDPatrol (kinda liked it myself, actually)--like that one that claims to potentially cause seizures. Gah!
