twice. both times for replacement phones. the last time i did it, everything restored just fine (texts and preferences) with the exception of youtube bookmarks, but that wasn't a big deal. the first time i restored, nothing was backed up. a bit strange.

Yes. Same here. AND NOW IT'S FRICKING BRICKED. It worked fine; I put my music and all back on and was listening to Wild World (Cat Stevens). When the song ended, the next one didn't start. I pulled my iPhone out of my pocket and it was off. No button push can coerce it to turn on. It's in its dock now and connected to my iMac. It didn't wake my iMac from sleep when I plugged it in. It isn't seen in iTunes. I'm freaking screwed. I WON THE THING, for crying out loud! :mad::(... And now it's lost....
