Greetings all,
I am an amateur producer and I mix and master wherever I am at the moment many times.
I had a USB hub (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TPMEOYM/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_e-WZDb5TYSMNG) running into one USB port and my Scarlett 2i2 in the other. In the hub, I would have my iLok and a mouse hooked in at all times and would also have my phone charging as well.
After a while, the USB ports quit working. Since it is old, Apple store wouldn't take care of it so I went to a certified provider. He said that what should have happened was that I would get a message about power not working. I told him I only got that message after the USB ports quit working for everything but a flash drive. Then that quit and wouldn't give any message.
He told me that I shouldn't have an issue with the new LogicBoard, but, I want to make sure I can prevent this from happening.
