How could one even know? And why does it matter for you?
The Xs is already doing a great job, the next iPhone could only be an improvement of that.

I'd assume less noise and better low-light performance. That's it.

Apple just recently did a fall back on the camera assembly design so -27.33%

Steve Jobs would have given us a full 29-30% improvement in video quality. Unbelievable. I'm jumping ship to Android.

Obviously no one can say for sure, but we've already got some of the major features down... 4k60, expanded dynamic range up to 30 fps, stereo sound etc.

I would say possible improvements include:
- HDR10+ recording modes
- expanded dynamic range up to 4k60
- better quality hfr options

I think it's been rumoured that the ultrawide lens may not have stabilization.

There's mostly only refinements coming I think, it's a period like 4s to 6 where we had mostly similar looking 1080p video from the iPhone.

Op, do you find the xs generation video lacking? It's one of the biggest jumps forward in video we've had with the iPhone.

Comparing my iPhone XR video to that of my Samsung S10+ and my Pixel 3XL, I think where it falls a little bit short is in audio quality and low light capability. The sound still comes out a bit muddy and muffled compared to that of the competition. And I can get a bit more light in dark scenes on my Androids.

Otherwise the iPhone is hard to beat. The other phones’ cameras really fall apart when you have to pan across a scene. The motion is jerky on them and smooth on an iPhone.

I’ve had confidence in my iPhone videos for years. The only thing ever missing was stereo audio capability and we finally got that, much to my excitement last year.

The current line of iPhones (I have an X for instance) can, currently, film at 4K60. No problem. Also a high bitrate at 4K.
