So I currently have the iPhone X 64GB Space Grey. I was wondering how much this phone will be worth next year, so I can sell the X and buy nexts years Plus model. I live in Canada so I couldn't get the iPhone Upgrade program as it is not available here. Any thoughts (please include the currency your using, ie. USD/CAD)?

IF I were guessing, I would say next year (and I'm assuming you mean September), between $750-$900. Even if you could get the full price you paid AND if there is going to be an X-Plus, I'm guessing the plus will be around $1150-$1200 for a 64gb model.

Personally, I see a VERY small market for an X Plus except for the "phablet" crowd.

IMO, your poll is flawed. It should ask if a current X user would be selling to replace the unit with a PLUS model. I sell every year and have NEVER upgraded to a plus as I'm not in the phablet crowd. The ONLY reason I bought the X is that the screen size is almost as large as the plus, but very close in form factor to the regular size.

I bought the IP8 in Sept and then bought the X in late October, with the intent to sell it if I didn't like it. However, I liked it so I food chained my 8 to my wife.

I was shocked by how well iPhone Plus has performed so well, has now overtaken 'standard'.
Therefore
Plus will launch Sept 2018, X resale will drop 20%, sorry but true.

How long's a piece of string? Whon knows until it's measured. Same for selling the X next year (September???) You might get a estimate in August if you look at eBay 'COMPLETED' sales. I'm betting $700-$800.

I've had every iPhone since the 3G, reselling every year. I now have the same X that you have although mine is ATT model. At this moment in time, I'm leaning toward keeping it for a 2nd year. I laugh when I read here that some present X users are waiting to trade it in on a X PLUS. For the first time yesterday I saw an 8+ in a store and placed my X along side it. The picture on the X is longer than the 8+, but maybe a silly 1/4" less in width if that. IMO, for Apple to come out with a plus for the X form factor would be totally silly, but if Apple thinks there's a real market for an X+, maybe they'll do it.

Just 3 months old and people are already selling their X.

Sometimes I think tech euphoria wears off, and the iPhone X either wasn't for them or it was just too expensive, which someone could not justify the purchase. I expect to see quite a few use iPhone X's even after the new year once holiday return periods are past expired.
