So the whole 5G partnership is funny

Not about who is the best or not, but definitely the first time i have seen apple accepting a vendor so highly.

Being with both ATT and Verizon i dont really care either way as its all based on coverage and ATT and TMobile both have MM Wave rolling out as well

Just interesting that Verizon is getting so involved with Apple lately.

I'm sure a lot to help offset Apply having to support the US exclusive Verizon ultra Wideband SKU. The global models don't have the Verizon-specific extra antenna.

Have you not ever seen the first iPhone reveal where they talked about how Cingular (which bought ATT and adopted the branding) was the only carrier that could meet the iPhone’s needs? At a time when Cingular was operating a pretty substantial 3G network and the iPhone was EDGE only?

Apple has no qualms about bringing partners/vendors with them along for the ride, as long as they’re playing ball. I was half-expecting Verizon to announce a special 5G iPhone plan or something, but just being willing to come out and explain why this new feature of the iPhone is so great and worth shelling out a grand for was apparently good enough.

Ummmmmmmmm clearly you were never stuck with a blackberry storm because iPhone was only available on att for the first 3+ years.
