I think it would cost the consumer the same amount, but I think the power adapter would have been included if 5G wasn't.
 
It is roughly $20 - $30 on the assumption that patents cost stays flat. ( Not likely ). But there are lots of other moving part, for example Qualcomm Modem is more expensive than Intel modem. Which is a good thing because most people would have prefer to have a better modem than the little cost saving .

Generally speaking it wouldn't make much of a difference, as Apple will likely have added other features for the price budget.
 
As mentioned, it’s a mute point, so why even asked this question. doesn’t make any sense asking. We can’t answer that question with any authority, just guesses
 
Price wouldn't be any less, not a noticeable amount to the consumer anyway.

However, Samsung and others charge $100 extra for 5G, so perhaps Apple got it right the way they are introducing it.

Since the pro models kept their prices like last year....i guess the same...maybe the mini could have started from 649$ but not more less
