Hi

I considering buying a mac mini to learn objective-c, xcode... So I will only be using it for a temporary amount of time until my needs require a stronger computer. I wanted to know how much minis go for. If you have sold your mini, can you state the specs and the price you sold it at?

Thanks

btw I want to buy a new mac mini and sell it afterwards.

This is a question for used minis so the apple website is useless. Also, I live in canada so amazon is useless. Ebay is mainly just full of sellers who sell many products and not individuals. Finally, you can't tell on craigslist if they have been sold and there are hardly any ads for mini in my area.

Thats why I'm asking here :)

It doesn't really matter what other people have sold their Minis for in the past. Those prices wouldn't really be relevant now anyway.

If you're looking for a used Mini, and you have limited selection in your area, the prices on the limited selection is what you have to deal with. Fortunately/unfortunately, the market sets the price.

I don't know what your price range is and how used you're looking for but I find that you can get some good deals on the apple store refurb page. These are nice because you get a standard apple warranty and all purchases are eligible for extended applecare as well. Previous gen minis dont pop up often and when they do they're usually bought pretty quick so you have to check alot and purchase it immediately when you see one. If you want to go this route I would make the refurb page your browser's home page so that you see it every time you fire up safari or whatever. They generally give really good discounts on the non-server previous gen models.

Other than that I would say ebay is a pretty good bet.

I guess I didn't make it clear that a wanted to buy a new mac mini and sell it myself :p

Asking for pricing information outside of the marketplace is against forum rules

Selling outside the Marketplace. All threads offering items for sale or trade, asking to buy items, or asking for pricing advice on items to be sold must be posted in the Marketplace forum, which is accessible only to qualified members and subject to additional rules; see the Marketplace Rules for details. Members not eligible for the Marketplace forum may not start threads elsewhere for such purposes.

Secondly you ask a question that cannot be easily answered. Buying a Mini today and selling it for a price in the future. The best you can do is take the advise in this thread and try to make an educated guess
