I have all apps while using and system. Services all off also background refresh and all of that but what about turning off all location services except for maps.
I know Snapchat and intragram need those features to work better

You mean you know snapchat and instagram use your location data to track where you are and what you're doing? lol no need to have them on... Turn off every app using location data except maps/navigation, you'll lose nothing useful to you.

SURE they do lol

They actually do. And Snapchat has a filter option based on your current location. I'm taking it you have never used Snapchat before. No need for conspiracy theories when thats not what the OP is asking about.

OP. I keep system services enabled for everything application on my phone. The only thing I do is toggle off some of the system services in location settings, things that I don't use. Also, I make sure that the app system services are set to "only when using" and not "always". When it is set to "always", even with the app closed out of memory, it will still be using location services. I have never really had any problems with battery life.

Location services can be expensive to the battery depending on how the app implements it. And especially if that app is then going out and updating something or constantly searching for nearby whatevers. I manage my phone like Mlrollin91. I don't need apps doing all their online location monitoring and updating while I go about my same old daily routine.
