How much free space?

May sound like a stupid question but out of the box how much free space is there on the 128gb macbook air. I ask as I cant figure out where all mine has gone. Ive put on 70gbs of music and 10gbs of photos but only have 20gbs of free space left. Surely files already on the mac cant make up 28gbs?

Use OmniDiskSweeper or DiskInventory X or JDisk Report to look where all the GBs have gone to.

And MRoogle will find you lots and lots of similar threads.

Mac OS X and iLife will take up 10-12 GB, the sleepimage will take up another 2-4GB, depending on how much RAM you have.

IIRC mine came with around 102GB or so.
