I have about $140 in my Apple Savings account and noticed I earn about 0.48 cents per month? How is this calculated? I thought that the interest I earn is suppose to be 4.15%?

What if i have $1000 in my account, how much interest will I earn monthly?

It’s no secret just basic math. If you have $1K for the entire year then its 1000 x .0415 / 12 = $3.45/month

I’m sure someone better at math has an easier way. If you start adding or removing money from the account that’s when the interest amount becomes more volatile.

Okay that's exactly what I wanted to know. So that's how it's calculated. Thanks.
