I'm thinking about selling my 2016 Macbook pro 13" four thunderbolt/i5 2.9GHZ/8GB ram/256gb SSD with touchbar and upgrade to a M2 air, but I was wondering how much I should price it since Apple is no longer accepting trade-in for this model, and people seem to be pricing it all over the place on facebook market so I'm really not sure how much it's worth now. The battery cycle of mine is only 239 and it has no scratch or damage.

I tend to find eBay gives a better picture of prices. Type in your model and year and click the "sold" filter to see what they sold for.

Check ebay, as the post says.

But be forewarned:
MBP's with the butterfly keyboard probably aren't going to bring good prices, due to the high cost of repairs when the keyboard fails (and they're just about all out of the "extended warranty program" for keyboard failures).

I buy and sell MacBooks. On the street depending on condition you can fetch maybe 400-450. That would be Facebook/offer up etc.. I consider that retail used pricing. Also depends what area you live in. There are TONs of people who want Macbooks and will only buy in person, no shipping.

eBay, will be generally less, maybe 300-375, but you have eBay fees You have to take off.

I’ll add, with Sonoma announced, and 2016’s stuck on Monterey, prices will probably continue to drop. Sell quickly!
