Hi guys I have Mac Pro 2010 with Intel Xeon E5645 6 core single core. What is the max memory I can have here? And also if I decide to go Intel Xeon X5690 Six-Core 3.46GHz what is the Max I can have here ?

Thank you for your help

For a single CPU Mac Pro with a Westmere E56xx/L56xx/X56xx Xeon, you can install 4x32GB DIMMs, but is an Apple unsupported configuration that requires OpenCore and manual configuration of the DIMMs. Works, but it's only an option for people that likes to tweak. This is the reference thread bout 32GB DIMMs:

For normal people that want to install the DIMMs, have it automatically configured and forget about that, 4x16GB is the maximum for a single CPU Mac Pro.

4x16GB 1333mhz DDR3 should be the easiest choice and the normal maximum.

16GBx4. 16GBx4 as they are both dual capable xeons, even tho you have one of them. i had this with a single x5690 for a while.
