How so? I had placed an order 3 weeks ago for a amxed out 20"iMac. When I called to find out if it had come in at the local store the owner said they had not shipped it yet and told me about the new one coming out. He asked if I wanted to cancell the order and wait until tuesday......MAN I am GLAD I DID!!! I will be getting more hard drive, more processor, ilife 08, more memory 4gig, and maybe better GPU (we'll see). For over 500$ less!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah baby.

Well I can wait. The old iMacs had 1GB standard but that was 2 512mb sticks, so there wasn't much point in buying an after market 2 GB's of ram. Now the new iMac has 2 slots with one slot with one a 1gb card, so adding another 1 gb card is very easy. Since I can order from Amazon because I don't need anything to be updated, I am saving a substantial amount of money.
