Hey how much more Powerful is ThAn 15 inch Macbook pro 2012 maxed out? I am frustrated by spinning wheels waiting for things to process. Thanks

Based on the most realistic projections: 5-10% increase in CPU speed, 100-125% increase in GPU speed, probably some increase in SSD speed.

Anyway, you should't see any beachballs in normal operation. If you do, then there is probably something wrong with your laptop. And if you are running something very processor intensive that takes a lot of time, then of course it will still take time with a new machine.

I'm looking not for more CPU horsepower, though GPU horsepower will be nice, but other design changes.
