Does anyone have any idea of how much of the Youtube "collection" has been converted to be viewable on the :apple:TV?

I don't recall if they gave a date by which the whole thing would be converted by.

Ah, here's the quote from the P.R. from Apple:

...with YouTube adding thousands more each week until the full YouTube catalog is available this fall.

So no firm date was given, but we are just into the fall.

theres a LOT thats on there now. stuff that i had been searching for all of a sudden turned up. i dont think its everything though.

fwiw, videos I upload are available on the iPhone a day or so later**. So aside from the backlog, they are at least keeping current with the new stuff.

**uploaded via iMovie. Don't know if they're smart enough to convert _those_ videos first.

i did read a post on here from someone who clicked a link of a youtube video on his iPod touch and it launched the youtube app and it popped up "This video is not yet ready for iPod"....he had no idea what it meant but ofcourse i am a genius and knew exactly what it meant but failed to tell him so. So yeah there obviously are still some out there that havent been converted.
