Hey guys this may seem a stupid question, but I cant remember how much RAM can I put on my Macbook Pro .... this is the one before that it just came out .... right now I have 2 GB I would like to upgrade to 4 GB but I remember that I read somewhere that some macbook pro just can upgrade until 3GB ... s Im wondering which one I have ? what other info do you guys need ?

some of my specs are .....
I bought it on October 2006 so Im pretty sure this one is the one before.
15""
Macbook Pro 7200 2.33 MHz Inter Core 2 Duo....
2GB Ram
X1600 ATI Radeon

Thanks.

yep...and I also believe that if you install a matched pair of 2GB sticks, it should access 3.3G instead of 4G. Not sure if the extra .3G is worth it though. Check out OWC for options.

I've read that about the 3.3GB. Check out barefeats website for information about performance with 2 x 2GB on the 2.33 version.
