How much space is required for OSX 10.10?

Hi! How much space is required for OSX 10.10 clean install?

I don't have a 10.10 installer, but the Yosemite 10.10.2 installer requires 7.84 GB for the default, clean install.

I suspect that does not account for the other two partitions that would always be created with a Yosemite install, which would need another 860MB, more or less.

What type of device are you trying to install 10.10 on?
