iPad Pro How much storage does your Optimized Photos Library use? And what’s your capacity?

For those of you who have your iPad’s Photos library set to “Optimize Storage”:

1) How much storage does your library actually take up on your iPad?

2) What is your iPad’s original storage capacity?

3) How big is your actual/original Photos library?

Me?

Mine takes up 222GB on my iPad Pro, and the iPad is a 512 GB model.

My actual library exceeds 600 GB now

Curious how this works for others!

Library is 230GB and will grow fast. Enabled iCloud photo on iPad. Takes only 15GB for now on a 512GB iPad. For thumbnails it’s not too bad. I still wish I could have a 32TB iPad to truly store everything though.

Same size on iPhone except iPhone is only half the size of iPad, but I don’t care iPhone capacity that much since most of uses happening iPad nowadays for me.

1) How much storage does your library actually take up on your iPad?

3.2GB on the iPad I’m currently holding. Iirc, it tends to vary. I only use optimize on devices with <= 256GB storage.


2) What is your iPad’s original storage capacity?

64GB


3) How big is your actual/original Photos library?

38.2GB
