iPad How much would a brand new iPad 4 be worth?

I ask as Ideal World (one of our shopping channels) were trying to flog these for £400. Not once did they refer to the iPad number, just calling it an iPad; neither did they mention it's specifications.

I couldn't believe they were asking that much for a 6 year old tablet. Who would be dumb enough to buy one?

That's more or less what I thought. I should be surprised but the same channel sells £10 Chinese mechanical watches badged with an English name for £399.

If it’s been unused in the box since manufactured, the battery has got to be degraded significantly... I received $110 a year and a half ago for a 32gb+cellular iPad 4, $50 sounds about right now..

Are you sure they weren’t just using stock footage of an iPad 4 to sell an iPad (2018)? I don’t know where they’d get the new stock from if it were an iPad 4.
