yeah my macbook is a 1.83GHz core duo w/ 1.25GB RAM, 60GB HD. Microsoft word is already installed.

How much would i get for it? I'm probably not going to sell it, but later on i might, because it cant handle my gaming needs. I'm actually thinking about buying a PC, because a MBP is too expensive and a MB doesent play games.

I had the same issue with an older G5 Tower, it just wasn't cutting it for games, not enough compatibility when I bought it three years ago. I ended up buying a PC to game on and after about a year, I was back playing my wonderful mac-only games because I hated the unreliable hardware and software (windows).

Moral of the story, I'd at least keep your MacBook as you'll want it when you need something dependable.

yeah your right. it's just that... well... i have this REALLY crappy pc. I bought it in november 2006 and it was the worst there. Seriously.

AMD sempron 3500? BS.
half a gig of 400MHz RAM? BS.
Integrated nVidia 6150 graphics? BS. No dedicated memory? BS.
It got like 5 viruses in the first 3 months? Nicccee.

Im gonna get my parents to get those problems fixed with software, and then im gonna get a nice nvidia video card.

The Sempron is still going to be a poor choice for games.

As to your original question, you could probably get around $700 for it if its is great condition. It is still a great machine for general work and light gaming.

Cheers,

Cheers,

he said that was his current PC not the one he was going to buy, and theres nothing wrong with a 3500+ semperon, for 40 bucks its a nice cpu. that system sounds like it cost you about 599 or so when you bought it which would be a really nice price for that system, and 3 viruses...dont surf for porn without a virus scanner
